October Field Trip

We’re heading to Bisbee! Saturday, October 21, we’re going to the Copper Queen Mine in Bisbee.

We hope to help to facilitate carpools, and there may be additional visits, depending on interest. If you wish to travel early or stay late, we’ll have times and locations for meeting up in Bisbee. RSVP your interest (important!) to admin@pinalgeologymuseum.org before September 20, please. This is not a hard cut-off, but we really could use the info for planning.

ANNUAL SHOW

We’re going bigger! We’re going better!

This year our annual show will be in conjunction with Cotton Days in at San Carlos Park, 300 W Central Ave, Coolidge.

The show will be on Saturday, March 2, 2024, just a few blocks from the Museum. MARK THE DATE

Free Parking – Free Entrance – Mineral Venders

We will need several volunteers to help with things before the event, during the event, and after the event. Vendor applications will be available soon.

Contact admin@pinalgeologymuseum.org for either.

Because we’re partnering with Cotton Days, there will be food, other vendors, entertainment, and a carnival. Plan to bring the family and spend the day.

Help Wanted

We could really use some special help. We’re expanding in several directions and need some special help.

Field Trip Coordinator to help organize field trips for members a couple of times a year. We can help you get started. Mostly help pick places, dates, and other information, and then lead the trip or find someone to do so. [Volunteer position]

Fundraiser. Do you love working with people? We need someone to help us with fundraising from various sources. Help us raise the funds to continue and expand our educational mission as the only STEM-focused museum in Pinal County. [Volunteer position]

Marketer. We need help in spreading the word about the museum and the geology-related hobbies and sciences. We need someone who can help design brochures, write press releases, and stuff you can think of to make us better known. [Volunteer position]
