Pinal Geology and Mineral Society

The Pinal County Geology and Mineral Society (PGMS) meets every 3rd Wednesday September through May. PGMS holds nine informational and fun meetings a year, and usually has several field trips to collecting localities and other geological sites of interest. We have monthly email newsletter with articles and information.

The Society also runs the Pinal Geology and Mineral Museum.

It is a place where you can meet other rockhounds of all levels of experience, from those of us just starting our interest in rocks to professional geologists.

Everyone is welcome to join us

Founding and current President: Dr Ray Grant.
