The Pinal County Geology and Mineral Society meets every 3rd Wednesday September through May PCGMS holds nine informational and fun meetings a year, and usually has several field trips to collecting localities and other geological sites of interest. Nine email newsletters are sent out annually, and the Society also acts as a Friends organization for the Pinal Geology and Mineral Museum.

It is a place where you can meet other rockhounds of all levels of experience, from those of us just starting our interest in rocks to professional geologists.
Recent meeting topics have included an overview of Meteor Crator, near Winslow, AZ, dinosaurs and other fossils, a review of Quartz, and a travelogue of worldwide geological travels.

Meetings:
Meeting presentations are livestreamed on YouTube until further notice. No in person meetings.
Livestream opens at 6:30pm. Meeting begins at 7:00pm.
Meetings consist of a small amount of business, and a speaker or presentation. Meetings usually last about one hour.
Location: Meetings are held on the Pinal Geology Museum YouTube Channel. No sign in is requred to view the meeting. Comments/Questions for the speaker can be made by anyone with a free Google/YouTube account. When possible, the meeting presentations remain up on the YouTube channel.
Everyone is welcome!!
Adults, families, children are all invited. Begining hobbyists and seasoned professionals should find something of interest.
Open to the Public. Membership is not required to attend meetings!
