“Making a Rock Collection”

Ages 8-12

Join us for an introduction to rock & mineral collecting. Students will learn the basics of finding and
recognizing common specimens, and the importance of labels.

Each student will leave with a small collection.

Maximum 15 students. Parent/guardian welcome to sit in. There is also space to wait outside the
museum.

Register by September 14. Masks recommended, not required. Subject to cancellation due to low
enrollment.
